Great Northern Corp. is a commercial cardboard manufacturer in the Midwest. Its factories have big machines and skilled people working together behind every box and pallet. However, they were struggling to make an impression. They wanted us to showcase their industry in a way that would inspire new people to join. Even though their work was strong and they had a good reputation, their recruitment materials did not show the energy, skill, and culture that made them special.

This project wasn’t just a quick, one-day shoot. It took place across three states, Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin included seven different factories.

Our Minneapolis video production team created multiple recruiting videos, each focused on one factory and the people who keep it running. The goal was for job seekers to imagine themselves in the videos, whether working with machines, handling shipments, or checking quality.

From Filming to Final Videos

After weeks of filming, the editing room became our second home. We sorted footage from seven factories and wove together a consistent, authentic story. The final edits opened with friendly employee shots, transitioned to dynamic views of work in progress, and ended with a call to action directing viewers to Great Northern’s location-specific careers pages (external link).

The result? Recruitment videos that felt real, inspiring, and effective.

The Results

This campaign transformed how Great Northern is seen by potential employees. The videos gave job seekers a genuine behind-the-scenes look and positioned the company as a modern, people-friendly place to work.
